Day 3 was the day of the slopestyle contest, good thing for us not in it, it snowed a foot the night before!

It snowed another bunch that night but too bad for us, we had to rush to catch the ferry boat to Hokkaido.

Along for the journey was the Transworld crew and friends.

The trip was pretty much Darrell, Justin, Jan, tour guide Jake, Bob, and myself consitently laughing at Mikey.  It was an awesome addition to the video. Most photos are by Bob Plum.

Day 2 started out with a drive around town checking out some spots before heading to a slopestyle contest.

Jed got down on the dentist trend.

Nick was throwing up out of his ass, but was still down for breakfast.

There are about 1 million 7/11′s in Japan, and Japanese people stop at every last one of them.

Vending machine heaven. The top shelf is for hot beverages.

Jacob is a fast food junkie.  This tripple bypass was music to his ears.

Some people had this dead dinosaur-looking beetle in a cage.  We took it for some pranks down the line….Stay tuned for that one!

They have these crazy ugly animals in Japan. Kinda like a cross between a blowfish and a monkey.  It is illegal to feed them.

This is our hotel for the contest.  The resort was right out back.

Airblaster is making a movie this year and one of the trips was to Japan.  In attendance was Airblaster master Jesse Grandkoski, Nick Dirks, Jed Anderson, Jonas Michilot, and Airfilmer Jacob Sutton.  I tagged along to stack some shots for Videograss.  Here are some photos of Day 1. We were there for about 11 so stay tuned for the endless amount of photos from the trip.

You could pretty much stand up in this thing. 7 of us fit with all our gear.

Right after we landed we drove for 4-5 hours to Niigata. This is Kazu, he was our translator/comedian/mascot/sketchy guide.   Stay tuned for some epic Kazu photos and footage.

This was our room for the first night.  Bozwreck style.   No beds, just floor mats.
